Helena Popović

Helena Popović is a researcher in the Department of Journalism at the  Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb. She teaches classes on communication theory, media research methods and popular culture. Helena received her PhD in Communication Studies at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia where she defended her thesis Audience, Text, Context: Television Comedy and Social Critique. She also studied at the Central European University, Budapest (MA in  Sociology and Social Anthropology) and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb (BA/MA in Sociology). She has published articles on media and civil society, media policy, media audiences and entertainment media, and has taken part in numerous international research projects. Her current interests include media audiences, media production, and media policy and regulation in Croatia.
 

Herwig G. Höller

Hilma Unkić

Hilma Unkić graduated journalism at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, continuing postgraduate study in communication sciences.  She has worked for different media outlets in BiH and currently she is working for the website media.ba. She was also a longtime activist on issues related to art and culture.
