"Transparency in media ownership and preventing media concentration", Skopje, 25 and 26 September.
Regulators and policy makers from the countries of South East Europe as well as civil society representatives will take part in the regional conference "Transparency in media ownership and preventing media concentration", to be organised in Skopje on 25 and 26 September 2014 by the Council of Europe, in cooperation with the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services of the Republic of Macedonia, and with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. European experts will also present experiences, practices and challenges in regulation of media ownership and media markets in other European countries.
Within the conference, results and recommendations of the media integrity research conducted by the SEE Media Observatory will be presented by Biljana Petkovska, director of the Macedonian Institute for Media.
