EU Award for Investigative Journalism Launched in Kosovo

EU Award for Investigative Journalism Launched in Kosovo
Press Council of Kosovo on March 15, 2017 launched the EU Award for Investigative Journalism. The Award aims at promoting achievements of investigative journalists and is launched for the third time in the Western Balkans and Turkey. 
 
Investigative stories published between 1 January and 31 December 2016, reporting on societal issues related to abuse of power and fundamental rights, corruption and organized crime in Kosovo that otherwise would not have been brought to the public attention can be nominated for the award.  
 
The award fund in 2017 (for achievements in 2016) is 10,000 Euro. Up to three entries will be awarded. 
 
The deadline for submission of entries/nominations is April 5, 2017.
