OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Launches Campaign to End Impunity Against Journalists.
The video launches a campaign against impunity for crimes committed against journalists, produced by the Commission for the Investigation of Murders of Journalists and supported by the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.
Journalists searching for the truth are threatened every day. The scale of attacks on and harassment of media professionals keeps growing throughout the OSCE region. The security and safety of journalists must be guaranteed at all times. We need to raise awareness on the issue of journalists’ safety.
Journalists are witnesses of our times and they report on important events in our world. Without them, we would not be able to make sound assessments on our societies and their leaders.
Begun by the Commission for the Investigation of Murders of Journalists in Serbia, the Office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media is launching a global campaign to end impunity for crimes committed against journalists.
